Indoor Programs
Winter Percussion
We have just recently started our Indoor percussion program again after taking a year off in the 2009-2010 season. Last season we competed in several competitions all across the East Coast. The indoor season is a 6 month season running from the end of fall to mid spring. Indoor percussion is open to anyone but an audition is required to decide if you will be placed on the marching indoor drumline or in the front ensemble. The season fee is comparable to the regular marching season. More info will be made available on our website as the season gets closer. For more info on indoor percussion contact Percussion Instructor Sean Combes.
Winter Guard
We have had an excellent indoor Winter Guard program here at WFR for many years. This program is open to any student at WFR, entry into the program is by audition only and there are a limited number of spots. The Winter Guard season is a 6 month season starting in late fall and ending in mid spring. Winterguard will compete at many competitions in North Carolina. The season fee is comparable to the regular marching season. More info will be made available on our website as the season gets closer. For more info on Winter Guard contact Guard Instructor Jammie Pritchard.
