What We Are
The Wake Forest - Rolesville Band Program allows the students of WFR to be themselves and bring out their inner performer. They work with their fellow students to bring something bigger out of every individual, and create a masterpiece. The students of the WFR Band are true artists no matter what program they are in.
The WFR Marching Cougars is a competitive marching band that competes at five competitions every year across the county. They also play at football games and perform the halftime show. Concert Band and Wind Ensemble are separate from Marching Band, although many do both. The concert ensembles perform at many concerts over the course of the school year and attend the MPA (Music Performance Assessment) contest annually. The WFR Indoor programs consist of Winter Guard and Winter Drumline which perform their own shows at competitions across the country in the Winter and Spring Seasons. To find out more about the different ensembles contact us and we will be happy to send you more information!
